about

Bosco is an instrumental / experimental project founded in Orvieto (Terni,Italy) in the fall of 2014.The band is a trio with the following lineup: drums (Lorenzo Nencini), violin (Laurence Cocchiara) and electric guitar (Emanuele Duchi).
It arises from the fusion of several genres such as stoner, sludge, post-core, progressive 70s rock, noise, classical music, folk and ambient. The sound is a constant fluctuation between light and shadow, between delicate melodies and heavy distorted riffs, between slow cadenced rhythms and furious post-core and black metal accelerations.
Dynamics and the expressiveness play a fundamental role thanks to the use of the violin, there are in fact crescendos and diminuendi to highlight a deep and enveloping 'wall of sound' created by way of harmonic intertwinings that dominate the tracks for all the duration of the pieces.
Currently Bosco has recorded a full-length self-produced album of seven tracks with a total duration of 46:34 minutes.
So far Bosco has played in numerous split-concerts with bands such as : Signs Preyer, Maerormid, Invaders, Better Off Dead and La Barba della Montagna. Bosco has also opened for TERRA at “I Suoni di Villalba” (2018), and for FOLKSTONE at the “Rock sul Serio” festival (2019).
